Did any of you notice the free pictures? I am not giving away all the details but you can find some pictures that you can download and save for free. They have my website name at the bottom but they’re still free. You’ll have to do digging around for those at the Galleries though.
Today’s pictures will be here shortly.
Can you guys believe someone asked me to stop taking pictures today? What a bummer. If you complained to the City or somebody, and had them come out to tell me to stop… couldn’t you have come up to me and just tell me to not take pictures of you or your dog? You do know that photography in public places is protected by the first amendment right? I would have respected your request if you had the spine to come to me and ask.
For the rest of you that continually ask me to “get your dog doing one of those crazy shots” please don’t stop asking. I don’t know what that thing today was all about, I don’t really care much, but I do know that as long as I have time and am able to, I don’t intend on stopping what I’ve been doing all along.
I go to the park to let my dog run loose, I take pictures of him and pictures of your dog. I then post them on this website for the whole world to see. Soon you’ll see photos from my trips to Seattle, Vancouver, Mexico, and my food tasting adventures with my Wife. This website is about my hobby, photography.
Over time, people have asked me “how can I get the photos?” can you e-mail them to me? I did for a while, but it got to be time consuming and. What if I have 18 pictures for example? They don’t fit on an e-mail. E-mailing wasn’t an option so I started posting them on this website. Even that was cumbersome and time consuming. –notice the big gaps in postings prior to March?– that’s why. But I recently found a way to make the whole process quicker and I begun using it. So now I don’t have to e-mail you the pictures or put a zip file up for you somewhere so you can download it.
For me, the new system is a dream, I can take as many photos as I want, I can concentrate on developing my skills and at the same time I can show you the outcome on an easy to view format. Unfortunately this system isn’t free and I have to pay for it. I pay out of my own pocket of course… who else would? In turn, the system allows you to easily download or print the picture right away. There is a fee involved to cover the expenses of running the website (hosting, bandwidth, maintenance), photo-processing charges and printing costs, and then I get a cut of that… since I took the photo. Sounds like a fair deal to me. What do you think?
Taking photos at the dog park, seriously is a hobby. I have a job and run a part-time technology consulting business. I just hope that someday, maybe the little money I get from the prints would pay for my equipment and even help me buy a better camera and lenses. If you want to help me out then feel free to buy a print or two. More than anything, I just get really excited that someone really likes the photos.
You are not obligated to buy any, I know that you did not ask me to get them on here so don’t feel obligated. The pictures are there if they come out and you can get them if you want. I hope I’ve never pushed this on you at the park or hassled anybody about it. I’ve never tried to bother anyone so please understand this. thank you!
Thank you for supporting my hobby. If you want to send me your comments and opinions please use the nifty Contact form I setup for you. If you want to send me a message anonymously to complain you can use the form as well, just say anonymous. I read all messages and try to reply to all of them when I have an e-mail address to reply to.

Cool!
I love free pictures.
There are several on my website also.
I just ask for a link back.
And Yes, this is a fair deal…
Thanks ForestWander… If you want a link back, send me an email from my contact form and we can talk about a link exchange. I’m also looking for guest writers if you’re interested.
